The CSOPT (China Star Optics) R&D team uses advanced design and development software and ultra-precision testing equipment at home and abroad to design, develop, and test lens components.
The CSOPT R&D team's manufacturing process mainly includes excellent optical system design, compact structural design, ultra-high precision lens component assembly, and comprehensive and rigorous testing. It provides complete and efficient customer support services. Our strong innovative design and engineering capabilities enable us to complete the development and verification of more excellent infrared lenses in a shorter time, and to complete product delivery tasks. At the same time, it has an ultra-light, ultra-compact structure, and a lower overall assembly cost, providing users with more comprehensive and excellent products.
Quality assurance
All CSOPT products are manufactured in accordance with international standards from raw material control to product testing. From design to delivery, our quality measurement system ensures that all our products meet the highest specifications and quality standards.
In the design phase, risk analysis methods and standardized R&D procedures lay the foundation for success. Component processing and product assembly are carried out according to design requirements, including component control, process testing, process inspection and finished appearance inspection to ensure high quality for customers. We have a full set of optical component and structural component testing equipment to ensure that each component meets the high-precision tolerances required by high-performance lenses. In addition, we conduct rigorous environmental testing for shipped products, including high temperature and humidity, vibration, shock, salt spray and other testing contents. We provide customers with more mature ultra-precision products with a highly professional and experienced team.
Product application areas
TAVS designs and manufactures high-performance LWIR, MWIR and SWIR optics and lenses for cooled and uncooled thermal imagers. We offer custom optical designs, custom mechanical designs and standard off-the-shelf products, including single-field lenses, multi-field lenses and motorized zoom lenses, as well as complete thermal imagers.

Large zoom ratio continuous zoom lenses
We offer products with different clarity requirements, including HD 1280 and SD 640 lenses, with high-precision autofocus and full focus clarity throughout the zoom range, and MTF close to the diffraction limit. These large focal length zoom lenses have excellent detection, recognition and identification (DRI) distances and are suitable for a wide range of monitoring, security, and payload applications.

Designed primarily for low-power payloads, including small aircraft, airborne, and handheld applications, the ultralight product line's superior optomechanical design ensures that these lenses are the smallest, lightest, and most compact on the market today while still achieving the highest level of infrared thermal imaging performance.
